Letcha in Munich

Very tasty Matcha drinks and cakes in Japanese style. There are also mochis here. I am enthusiastic and would love to come back.

good matcha, cozy atmosphere.

Were there at 4pm on a Friday. Totally nice and attentive service, who also gave you the time to decide. No extra charge for soy milk, I think that's great! A great message for consumers. :-) So I paid € 4.95 for my matcha latte with soy milk. The seating area is small but nice. The tables are not very far apart, but at no time did I have the feeling that mine was disturbing other people's conversations. They ran out of soy tiramisù (I would have loved to try). No problem, I think it's better when a small supply is guaranteed to be sold out than that the leftovers are thrown away in the evening.

Really bad service of the Asian staff. I had been standing in front of the counter for a few minutes and she knew you were there but just ignored you. All cakes were sold out just at 3:30 pm teatime.

I've had a decent matcha here before but today got such an unfriendly attitude from the server that I left without ordering.

The Matcha Roll and Sesame Roll are soft, refreshing, and delicious! However, the matcha drinks are not so special. Dine-in area is crowded.

The cake is delicious. Matcha latte taste fine. The dine-in environment is not comfortable.

We love matcha ice tornado, but the clients could be treated more nicely.

Matcha tea like in Japan. Since we were in Japan we always had problems with the quality and taste of the matcha tea. Here we finally found what we were looking for. The Masala Chai is wonderfully lightly spiced and nicely rounded. The cafe is small but nice. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. The service was very nice.

I'm commenting only on their letcha, the rest of the menu is most likely fine. They do not inform that instead of using normal milk they use vegan options that have no taste ( we saw normal milk on the table and assumed they use it since in other dishes it clearly says you need to pay extra for vegan alternative to milk. They also put way too many of those "gel balls" into the drink, making the whole experience really unenjoyable. Me and my friends got couple of them to satisfy our thirsty during hot summer day, instead we ended up with weird tasteless liquid-ball mix that we had to throw into trashcan after few sips.

Smart interior, inside seating at the back, great looking cakes and large drinks menu with English translation. Didn't see any boba tea but there was a jelly option. Paper straws. Cold chai isn't overly sweet and the roasted black tea is quite earthy in flavor similar to matcha.

This is my absolute all time favorite cafe in Munich, hands down. It's because I am in love with anything matcha so this is the right place for me. They have a great selection on not only matcha drinks but also very good quality matcha cakes. If you're not so into matcha like me that's ok too because they offer other great flavors from Japan like yuzu or sesame roll cakes that will be interesting for anyone to try. I'm not a fan of super sweet and sugary desserts so these roll cakes are perfect because it's the perfect balance of creme and sweetness without being too overbearing. The baker is a high class talent ?. Try the matcha latte with sea salt cheese foam, my absolute favorite drink. The opposing flavors of sweet and salty makes it exciting to the taste buds and extremely delicious!

Good matcha tea with various possible combinations. The cakes here are to die for, especially the Hokkaido cheesecake. Changing range of sweet rolls. Staff also very friendly, like to go over with friends for tea.

I love it here, all the friends I've brought to this cafe also love it! It's the only Japanese cafe in Munich (that I know of). If you like matcha, this is the place to be.

I love Matcha, so I just had to visit this shop. Location is great, Matcha wakes you up, cake is very tasty (see photos). There is nothing wrong with the café, unfortunately I was unlucky with other guests in the café. At the next table with American guests, girls painted their nails. I am allergic to the smell, so I had to leave the beautiful café.

Great place to have Japanese themed, or specifically matcha related coffee and tea. Service is great and the cakes, particularly the mango cake, are very nice as well. The location is also great, right outside the U bahn station. Will be returning to this place regularly.

Fav cafe and tea House+

This place is super cute. The atmosphere is nice and calm. They have many drink options but their desserts are really amazing. Also everything is presented in a nice and creative way.

I've been here so many times, why did I forget to like it? Cheese cake is really delicious, how to describe it, it is delicious, it is not too much to say that Munich is the best. Are there any disadvantages? Certainly there are, that is, the cut pieces are getting smaller and smaller, alas, the fast-developing price level of Munich and so on your people.

Very tasty and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately there are few seating options, but you can take your ToGo drink. Overall very good.

I loved the cake and the drink! The cafe is very cute and the staff is nice, only downside is that the place is a bit small and overcrowded. It’s a bit pricey but totally worth it

Amazing Tee for a juicy price

The cake is very delicious! Very suitable for eating afternoon tea with friends~ The clerk was very kind and the atmosphere in the store was great; The best Japanese afternoon tea shop in Munich!

This is one of my favorite cafes to go in munich! I love their Hojicha Latte and their cakes. The cafe is not very big, but cosy and lovely. They also offer warm food sometimes.

It's a small cute Café. One might think that it's pricey, but I find it acceptable. Anyway this is the only place I know so far where you can find a good Matcha latte. Cakes here are also really good. Staffs are friendly.

My girlfriend really likes. The matcha mouse was really good but somehow small for the price. Good overall but fancy.

Waiting time way too long. :-(

Taste of Japan ????

I looooove the iced cream cheese matcha here! I always like matcha but most tea places ruin it by adding tons of sugar and making it sickeningly sweet, here they give you pure matcha without added sugar and it's really rich and full of flavour. The cream cheese on top adds a tiny bit of sweetness to balance the matcha's bitterness. Best matcha in Munich!
